A very fine pocket watch in its original presentation box made by Vacheron & Constantin in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1915. The numbered open faced case of this watch, which was crafted from 18 carat gold, has a cuvette which is marked Vacheron & Constantin Genève Chronomètre. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The numbered movement has an extremely rare quality, patented anker chronometer escapement, 21 jewels, a special fine adjusting device, wolf’s toothing and is adjusted in eight positions.
