Gold open faced repeating pocket watch

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced minute repeating pocket watch made by Patek Phillipe in Geneva, circa 1905. The watch features a mechanical movement with Geneva striping decoration, a bimetallic lever escapement and blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating the minutes with two hammers on a gong. It has pendant winding. The white enamel dial includes painted Breguet numeral hour markers, a railway track minute scale, a subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel spade shaped hands. The round case is made of 18 carat yellow gold with a smooth back and is signed Patek, Philippe & Cie Geneva. A sliding mechanism triggers the striking function. The dial, case and movement are all signed.
