A decorative Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel diamond set lady’s pendant watch, circa 1840. This watch features a mechanical movement with key winding (supplied). It has a round dial with an unsigned white enamel background and black Roman numerals. The 18 carat yellow gold case is double sided and adorned with translucent blue enamel on a guilloché background, embellished with floral motifs set with important cut diamonds in crowned roses. The double 18K yellow gold cuvette is signed GRIVAZ in Geneva for Bailly in Lyon and has  Tête de Cheval stamps and griffin.
