Gold open faced lever pocket watch

A very fine and rare French, gold and rose-cut diamond-set lady’s watch, circa 1850.
The case back is fully set with rose-cut diamonds centred by green and red diamonds representing roses and leaves. Bezel and bow set with diamonds. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals intersected by rose-cut diamond-set indexes set in malachite, outer minute track with five-minute diamond indexes. Gilt diamond-set Louis XV hands.
A frosted movement, three-arm brass balance with blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Case signed.
