A very fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold and seed pearl set key wind open face pocket watch with enamel decoration, circa 1790. Gilt full plate fusee verge, pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation, baluster pillars.
White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute divisions with Arabic fifteen-minute markers, winding aperture at 2, polished gilt looped hands. Round consular case, enamel and seed pearl set bezels, enamel back depicting Cupid and Diana. Dial & movement signed.
