A Swiss gold open faced centre seconds virgule pocket watch, circa 1790. Fire gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved cock with polished steel coqueret, plain three-arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with an offset chapter for time indication at 6 o’clock with Arabic numerals, a polychrome enamel painting above, stoppable centre seconds by using the slide at 3 o’clock and outermost minute divisions with Arabic quarter-hours.  Plain case.
