A fine Swiss hunting cased, early keyless pocket watch, circa 1860.
18 carat gold engine-turned case with monogram and gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours, eccentric small seconds at 7:30 and blued steel Breguet hands. Frosted gilt movement with 19 jewels, “moustache” lever escapement, temperature compensation balance with gold adjustment screws and Philippe early one-directional winding/setting system.
