A Swiss very fine Patek Philippe Ankerchronometer pocket watch in excellent quality and condition, circa 1891.
18 carat gold, extravagant case with engraved rim and very solid lids; Ankerchronometer movement with signed and numbered bridge, big chronometer balance, patented fine adjusting device and wolf’s toothing; white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, black hours, red minute register, red seconds on the sunk subsidiary dial, signed Patek Philippe and retailer’s signature “Wright, Kay & Co Detroit” and original gold Louis XV hands. Matching numbers on case and movement.
