A very fine, Swiss extraordinary gold enamel ball form pendant verge watch with original watch key, circa 1800.
Gold enamel, ball-form case divided into quarters, two with black enamel backgrounds and blue and white champlevé enamel motifs and two with gold backgrounds and white champlevé enamel motifs: flowers and birds, musical instruments and sheets of music. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and gold hands. Signed, gilt full plate movement, keywind, with chain/fusee, solid movement pillars, verge escapement, three arm brass balance and engraved and pierced balance bridge.
