A fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set heart shaped ladies’ pendant watch made by Vacheron in Geneva, circa 1850. The case in the shape of a heart with a foliate engraved band, pendant and bow, the covers overlaid with translucent royal blue enamel over radial engine turning, the front with a rose cut diamond set snowflake, the back with a rose cut diamond set flower, further engraved foliate borders and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track and black moon hands. A matte gilt bar caliber movement with ten jewels, a cylinder escapement, gilt plain three arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. Cuvette signed.
