A Swiss of museum quality form watch, The Geneva Mandolin, with Camaieu magnifying glass painting and matching original brooch, circa 1800.
Signed and numbered gilt verge movement. Gold/enamel case, enamelling of the greatest rarity, front with a rococo painting in red Camaieu painting, view to the balance; back with three segments in the same colour, in between green engine-turned enamel, underneath the concealed dial. Brooch made in the same manner. Enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track, and filigree Breguet hands. (tip of the hour hand missing)
