A fine Swiss gold and enamel open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1795. Gilt full plate verge movement, pierced and engraved with scrolls balance bridge with steel polished coqueret.
White enamel dial, Arabic numerals and gold Breguet hands. Case finely painted with a polychrome enamel classical scene, all on a translucent blue enamel ground over an engine-turned ground, pearl set bezels. Front bezel opened by depressing the button in the gold pendant. Dial and movement not signed.
