A rare and early Swiss 14 carat pink gold  calendar verge watch, circa 1790. Gilded full plate movement featuring a verge escapement, an intricately pierced and engraved balance bridge, a silver regulation plate, a fusee and chain mechanism, cylindrical pillars.
The white enamel dial displays Roman numerals, an outer minute ring, gold poker and beetle hands and three subsidiary dials indicating days,  subsidiary seconds and date. Polished outer case.
