A Swiss decorative pocket watch with quarter repeater, yellow gold, enamel and pearls by esquivillon & dechoudens, circa 1795, yellow gold, enamel and pearl-set, open faced, key-winding, roundshaped, “Directoire” pocket watch, the quarter repeater on one bell (activated by depressing the pendant). Champlevé enamel case back with, in the lower part, painted on enamel on gold, a scene showing two children feeding chickens, after an English engraving, the painting on enamel on gold attributable to JeanLouis Richter (1766-1841), Geneva. Bezel set with half-pearls.
