Gold watch with decentralized time indication

A rare Swiss 18 carat gold key winding pocket watch with visible balance and decentralized time indication, made by André Brunet in Geneva, circa 1840. Round-shaped yellow gold case with engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) and vermicelli motif and flowers on the case back. The enamel dial has decentralized time indication with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, Breguet hands, and visible balance. Gilded brass movement with going barrel, duplex escapement, gilded brass monometallic balance, and blued steel flat hairspring. Cuvette signed.

André Brunet, Swiss watch manufacturer and dealer
Alexandre Brunet was mentioned as a watch manufacturer and watch dealer in 1844 in Geneva. In Geneva, he was possible Family of André Brunet, a clock manufacturer active around 1830-1840. This was specialized in 1.5 mm flat and extra flat watches, calibre Bagnolet, and coin watches decorated and engraved with enamel, with a visible pendulum. The abbreviation A dre probably stands for Alexandre, as André could easily be fully engraved. But André was known again for his flat Bagnolet calibre.
