A fine and elegant Swiss 18K gold and painted-on enamel pendant watch, circa 1860. With a chain and key pin which may be used to wind and set the watch. Accompanied by a fitted box. Engraved bezels, reeded band, the back cover decorated with a finely painted enamel Swiss alpine lake view, guilloche and blue enamel scroll border, the front cover with painted on enamel portrait of a lady and a bird with a guilloche and blue enamel scroll border and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A matte gilt, bar calibre movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
