An extremely rare and heavy Geneva hunting case pocket watch with “seconde foudroyante” and independent centre seconds with Patek Philippe extract from the archives, circa 1868. 18k gold case, tiered, polished, numbered and signed gold dome, button to stop seconds on band “1”. Enamel dial, radial Roman hours, center seconds, independent 1/5 seconde foudrayonte, blued spade hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, two going barrels, gold screw compensation balance, index spring fine adjusting device, counterpoised lever.
