A Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced ladies’ pocket watch with centre seconds made for the Chinese market, circa 1820-1830. Stainless steel duplex movement.
An engine-turned case back with central polychrome enamel flowers on a translucent green ground. The dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, multi-coloured enamel floral and foliage decoration in the centre, centre seconds and blued steel hands. Dial and movement signed.
