A very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel hunting cased lady’s pendant watch, made in 1850. Gilt, bar movement, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
F ully engraved case with foliage, hinged and sprung front cover with a dark blue foliate enamel monogram MB, the back cover with a central endless knot design. Hinged gold cuvette.
Case with spring-loaded back cover decorated with a painted on enamel bouquet of flowers within an engraved flower and leaf border, reeded band. Gold hinged cuvette.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Gold Breguet hands.
