A gentleman’s important pocket watch with 8 day movement – probably unique contract work by the firm of Patek Philippe, circa 1790. 18k rose gold case, polished, fine engraved noble family crest on reverse side depicting the coat of arms of the Dutch Oosting family. Enamel dial, Arabic numerals, date indicator, gold Poker & Beetle hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, large hanging barrel, cylinder escapement, monometallic screw balance.
