A very fine 18 Carat gold enamel and pearl set pocket watch, made, circa 1800. Two-body Directoire case with hinged and sprung bezel set with split pearls, release catch in the pendant, the back with a royal blue translucent guilloché enamel panel with split pearl border.
Matte gold dial with applied gold radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions, outermost border of applied vari coloured flowers and foliage, engine-turned center and gold serpentine hands. Matte gilt full plate movement with, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, brass balance, flat balance spring, continental cock with polished steel endplate and silver regulation dial.
