A very fine French, 18 Carat gold, jasper, ruby – and diamond set lady’s pendant watch, circa 1840. A polished bezel, coin edge band, trefoil bow set with old cut rubies and diamonds, and the back cover set with a polished jasper panel surrounded by old cut rubies and diamonds. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Black Breguet hands. A matte gilt movement, bar calibre, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
