A gentleman’s extremely rare pocket watch with eccentric hour chapter ring, calendar and mock pendulum for the Chinese market, circa 1800. 18k gold case, polished, case maker punch mark “HTD”. Dial: enamel, eccentric hour indication with Arabic numerals at “6”, date indication
at “9”, mock pendulum at “12”, date indication at “3”, blued hands. Full plate movement, firegilt, florally engraved, signed, verge escapement, ring balance.
