A very fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased anker chronometer with special caliber made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1877. Movement with a special anker chronometer caliber featuring an exceptionally large gold screw balance of Ø 18 mm, a moustache lever escapement and wolf teeth winding. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. A plain case. Case and movement with matching numbers.
