A fine Swiss, platinum, keyless winding, open faced Art Deco dress watch with matching 18 Carat white gold and enamel chain and mechanical pencil, made in the 1920s.
Platinum and enamel case, round shaped. Case back and bezel with black enamelled friezes and the cypher A B; inside case back with the dedication To Abraham Brickeni / a token of esteem – / an appreciation of an honest friendship. / from Emil N. Zolla / July 11th 1925. Silvered dial with gold fancy Arabic numerals, outer inset minute dots, subsidiary seconds at 6, and original gold skeletonized spade hands. Thin, rhodium-plated movement with going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, cut compensated balance and blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve. Dial, case and movement signed.
