A fine Swiss, rare and elegant, Art Deco platinum, sapphire and diamond-set articulated ring watch, circa 1925. Hinged bezel, on the sides, two hinged grips in the form of dragonflies with sapphire-set eyes and wings and set with diamonds, their articulated tails forming the shank, engraved band, the bezel set with sapphires and diamonds. Matte silver dial with painted radial Arabic numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands.
An oval, rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed.
