A numbered silver verge watch with an early Jacquemart figure automaton, made by the Frères Esquivillon & DeChoudens in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1800. The open faced plain case of this watch was crafted from silver and has a reeded band and a numbered cuvette. The face has an especially beautiful version of the figure automaton with three coloured figures of very fine quality, a central screwed white dial with black Arabic hour numerals and Breguet hands. The movement has a verge escapement repeating the hours and quarters and a Jacquemart figure automaton. Cuvette signed.
