A verge watch with a very rare enamel painting on the face and the inscriptions Les Trois Empereurs and Russie, made in Switzerland, circa 1800. The open faced numbered case of this watch is crafted from silver and the face has a painting of three crowned men inscribed as the Les trois Empereurs and the manufacturer’s mark CAD. The white enamel dial is centered on the face, has black Arabic hour numerals and black hands. The numbered movement has a verge escapement.
