Thin pocket watch with extremely thin cylinder movement

An extremely thin gold enamel Lépine with calibre Bagnolet, probably made in Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1850. The open faced case of this is crafted from 18 Carat gold, is only 5 mm thick and has an engine turned back which has a cartouche in the centre with an engraved landscape scene and small enamel inlays. The engine-turned silver dial has an outer ring with Roman numerals for the hours and filigree Breguet hands. The movement has an extremely flat cylinder escapement, a full plate movement calibre Bagnolet with beautiful and rare decoration and is engraved in two colours gold and silver.
