–
A very fine, thin and early Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel pendant watch made for the Polish market by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1850. The case back with a polychrome enamel scene of an Alpine landscape showing a homestead and the Staubbach Falls in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, in the background, framed by a lavishly engraved blue and white champlevé enamel border, with a reeded band and numbered and signed gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions and blued moon hands. The frosted gilt key wind bridge movement with a cylinder escapement and three arm brass balance.
