A Swiss lever watch in 18 Carat gold case, circa 1850, three gold lids, very unusual movement construction with several bridges, quality movement with two screwed chatons. Plain three arm gilt compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel indicator. Dial with subsidiary seconds and Roman numerals, two colour gold foliate decoration, blue steel Breguet hands. Gold open faced case. Engine turned back. A small button in the pendant to open the sprung front bezel. Winding through the gold cuvette.
