A very fine Swiss chatelaine with its original strap, key and signet, circa 1800. The strap is made of braided hair with 18 carat pink gold, decoratively engraved mountings and a later clasp. The very high quality, large key and matching signet are made of pink gold and each set with a carnelian, the key is circa 55 mm long, the signet circa 35 mm.
