A Swiss technically interesting, early observation watch with 2 time zones, independent stop second and flashing quarter of a second, circa 1860.
Polished 18K gold case, the middle part with coin edge, case hallmarks attributed to Dubois & Leroy, floral relief rim and the dome inscribed. Beautifully preserved enamel dial (very fine, old hairline crack), display of 2 time zones, persistent Central seconds, sustained flashing quarter seconds, seconds foudroyante, and Breguet steel hands. High-quality, early lever movement with 2 independent barrels, key winding.
