Gold, gem-set cylinder watch with chatelaine and visible balance

An unusual Swiss gold, gem set cylinder pocket watch with visible balance and matching chatelaine, circa 1800. Small rectangular gilt full plate movement with canted corners, key-wound and set from the back with a resting barrel, decorative four-armed diamond-set balance visible through an aperture in the dial, blue steel spiral hairspring hidden below the polished steel plate which acts a background to the balance. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals in a chapter set under the balance and blued steel Breguet hands. Rectangular case with canted corners, plain gold back with apertures for wind, set, and regulation, a foliate pierced silver frame surrounds the watch set with rubies, emeralds, and diamonds, a small diamond-set finial, and loop to suspend the watch. Matching silver and gold chatelaine set with numerous large colorful gemstones, filigree heart-shaped buckle surmounted by a crown, two additional chains supporting a seal and key.
