A high-quality French 18 carat gold hunting cased five-minute repeating lever pocket watch, circa 1920. Bridge movement, lever escapement, two hammers, two gongs, gold screw compensation balance. Two-tone gilt dial with Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, engine-turned centre and subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. Plain case with a presentation engraving, the front monogrammed. Dial signed, cuvette signed and numbered, movement and case numbered. Comes with the original wooden presentation box.
