A Swiss silver open faced verge pocket watch with alarm, circa 1800. Full plate movement, chain and fusee, one hammer, three-arm brass balance, florally engraved and pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions.  Engine-turned case back overlaid with translucent purple enamel and with applied fine gold decoration, plain bezels, rear bell, decorated inner base with sound holes. Dial, movement and cuvette signed, case numbered.
