An extremely rare, large and very thin Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced virgule pocket watch, circa 1800. Extremely flat calibre with virgule escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, blued Breguet steel hands. Case with translucent enamel on the back and polychrome enamel scene, makers mark FM. Case numbered.
