A very rare French 18 carat gold open faced chronograph deck chronometer with 30 minutes counter, circa 1920. An Observatory chronometer with Besançon Viper Mark. Lever escapement, chronograph with 30 minutes counter. Gilt dial with Arabic numerals, the centre engine-turned, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Plain case with reeded band, monogram PA on back. Dial signed, case numbered. Comes with the original box.
