Rock crystal dress watch

A fine and rare Swiss/French rock crystal, platinum, 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set open faced keyless pocket watch made by Cartier in Paris and the European Watch and Clock Co. in Le Sentier, circa 1925. Nickel lever movement with 19 jewels. Two tone silvered dial with a guilloché center, an outer minute track, inner Arabic five minute numerals on a brushed chapter ring and blued Breguet hands. The rock crystal case with a white enamel bezel featuring alternating 18 carat yellow gold radial Roman hour numerals and flowerhead half hour markers, a platinum band set with rose cut diamonds and a triangular platinum bow. Dial signed by Cartier, movement signed European Watch and Clock Co. Inc., the bow is hand stamped with Cartier numbers.
