Gold decorative watch with original box

An extremely rare pendant watch with original presentation box and key made by Amalric Frères in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1800. The case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold, both side have applied gold and polychrome enamel decoration showing flowers, foliage and doves on an blue enamel engine turned ground framed by open worked filigree decoration, the central spring lid on the front with the representation of the back of a peacock, a visible balance on the back and it bears maker’s mark ET. The concealed, small white enamel dial has Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, Arabic quarter hour numerals and gold spade hands. The numbered movement has a verge escapement.
Dial and movement are signed.
