A very fine, thin Swiss platinum and sapphire-set open-faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1925. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Brushed silver dial with applied gold Art Deco numerals, outer dot minute divisions, blue painted 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds, and original gold Art Deco hands. Polished and brushed case, band and bow set with faceted sapphires. Dial, case, and movement signed, case numbered.
