Gold and enamel cylinder form watch

A fine Swiss, amusing 18 Carat gold and enamel concealed dial form watch in the shape of a pear, circa 1800. A fermée type, entirely decorated in champlevé enamel, the upper part in black and azure blue with gold, red and white flowers, the lower part with a black and white flower garland, gold stalk forming the pendant, with gold filigree leaves—a white enamel dial with Breguet numerals and outer minute division. Gold Breguet hands.
A hinged, gilt brass full plate movement, cylindrical pillars, eight jewels, fusee and chain, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, two-footed cock.
