A fine English 18 carat gold full hunting cased keyless chronograph pocket watch, London Hallmark for 1861. Gilt half plate free sprung lever movement signed Langford with cut and compensated bimetallic balance wheel.
White enamel dial numbered, black Roman numerals and outer running seconds and five-minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6, blued steel hours minutes and chronograph hand Polished hinged case with monogrammed back and lion insignia on the front. Case makers mark P.W for Phillip Woodman, Smith Street, Clerkenwell. Dial and movement signed.
