Love Attributes, Geneva, case maker’s mark F.M., the front with the initials MDP within an elaborate frame of white, green, translucent imperial blue, and red enamel, depicting Cupid’s attributes quiver and arrows, musical instruments, two doves with laurel-leaf wreath, symbolizing love and building the family home, and flowers. The back is centred with a finely painted enamel scene depicting a young lady and her suitor in a rose garden with a lake and mountains in the background, elaborate green, red, white, and blue champlevé enamel frame forming cornucopias, doves and flowers.
