The enamel crest to the case is of the Egerton family beneath the coronet of the Earl of Wilton. Taking into consideration the age of the watch, it might be fair for one to assume that the watch belonged either to Seymour Edward Frederick Egerton, the 6th Earl of Wilton (1896-1927) or his wife, Brenda, Countess of Wilton (1895-1930).
