Gold hunting cased minute repeater by Patek Philippe

A fine 18 carat gold minute repeating hunting cased pocket watch, made for Geo. E. Shreve & Co., San Francisco, circa 1885. Nickel keyless lever movement jewelled through the hammers, overcoiled spring to the bimetallic balance, index regulator, repeating on gongs by means of slide on the band, 18K gold cuvette.
White enamel dial with roman chapters, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands. Within an engine turned gold case. Movement signed and numbered. Case and dial signed by the retailer, with a short 15K gold chain.
