Moulinié Frères & Co., a Swiss watchmaking company
Moulinié was active in Geneva until about 1795 and was founded by Jacques-Dauphin Moulinié.
In 1796, he and Jean-François Bautte registered a company that had been operating since August 1, 1793, under a nine year contract. On October 1, 1804, they started a new firm, Moulinié, Bautte & Cie, for four years, bringing in Jean-Gabriel Moynier. This expanded their work to include not just making watch cases but also trading watches and jewellery.
From 1808 to 1821, before Moulinié left, the company was known as Moulinié, Bautte & Moynier. Jacques-Dauphin Moulinié continued for a few more years as Moulinié Aîné & Cie. His sons, Jean-François and Jacques-Dauphin Jr., later ran the business as Moulinié Frères & Cie and then as Moulinié & Cie.
