A very fine French, rare and elegant, thin platinum pocket watch, circa 1925. With a case band and bow set with sapphires. Accompanied by a chain and knife. A solid, polished case, snap-on case back with monogram LDB, the case band and bow set with sapphires.

Matte silver dial with printed Arabic numerals, outer minute track, sunburst guilloche with decorative guilloche along the minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands.
A frosted gilt movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat hairspring. Dial, case, and movement signed Cartier, case numbered.
