A French yellow gold and onyx open faced pocket watch with chain, circa 1920. This watch features a mechanical movement with manual winding, lever escapement, 18 jewels, cut bimetallic compensation balance, and precision snail regulation. It has a silvered guilloché dial with black Arabic hour markers, an outer minute track, and Breguet-style blued hands. The 18 carat yellow gold and onyx case features the Cartier number 786 and chain number 555. The case and dial are signed by Cartier. The watch comes with a Cartier-monogrammed box and a 14 carat yellow gold and onyx chain.

The case is in excellent condition, with minor surface scratches consistent with its age. The dial is also in good condition, although the outer track has some discolouration, most likely due to cleaning. There is also some light dust present. The movement is currently running.
