A significant four color gold/enamel verge watch repeater a toc et a tact with diamonds by Gill & Boisdechesne Genèva, circa 1760.
An 18 carat gold, excellent case, four gold nuances, finest sound openings, relief birds, putto, tendrils and grapes on the back, one oval enameled lady’s portrait in the middle, nice quality, surrounded by real rose-cut diamonds, repeater with lateral switch device on bell/on case, very fine verge movement repeating hours and quarters on the bell or on the case, signed on the plate, original signed enamel dial, pink gold hands, minimal chips near winding stem, overall excellent condition and exceptional quality, in working order.
